Vasiliki Kanellos

Vasiliki is a senior at New Trier Township High School. Her Greek culture has introduced her to numerous delicious recipes that she has baked ever since her childhood, and she loves sharing her goods with others! Watching humorous baking competitions such as Nailed It! and Is It Cake? with friends is one of her favorite pastimes and a great source of stress relief. Vasiliki is excited about the opportunity to share her love of Greek desserts with the Chicago community that has provided her with so much, so when she encountered L & S she knew she had to jump on the team!

Maya Semmelman

Maya is a Senior at Buffalo Grove High School; she is a student who always loves to stay busy by participating in many clubs and activities in or out of school. She also loves giving back to her community. Baking has always been a fun past time to do with friends and family, and being able to do something she enjoys while giving back to the community is something she is so excited to participate in!

Ruby Barnett

Ruby is a senior at New Trier High School. As a student with multiple interests, she loves to read, participate in sports, and especially bake. Growing up, she baked with her two sisters and found that it was a great way to bond with her family and friends when she shared her desserts. When Ruby discovered L & S, she became very excited to share the same love for baking that had connected her family through her childhood with others, and she grew increasingly eager about the opportunity to practice one of her oldest passions again. 

Reagan Barr

Reagan is a senior at New Trier High School. She keeps herself busy by participating in sports, clubs, and junior boards. Reagan grew up in a house of cooks and bakers, so she knows her way around a kitchen. She loves to bake with her parents, friends, or even alone just for fun.  Just wait for her Sweet Potato Pecan Pound Cake!  Reagan is so excited to be a part of L & S, to be able to give back to the community while having fun and doing something she loves!
